World Water Day Student Competition
Showcasing the innovative water-sector research being conducted around MIT.
The United Nations has designated March 22nd as World Water Day to highlight the importance of sustainable management of our water resources and to inspire people around the world to take action for clean water. Beginning in 2021, J-WAFS has hosted a video competition on World Water Day to celebrate the innovative water sector research being conducted around the Institute.
MIT students, postdocs, and recent alumni can submit short video portraits of their water sector research projects and the challenges they are seeking to address. Submissions are then reviewed by a judging panel of water experts across the media, industry, and academia to compete for prize money and a spot in our World Water Day film festival.
